Join Our COOK Family as a Sous Chef  in our Pastry & Pies kitchen

 

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent - COOK Pastry & Pies 

Hours: Sunday to Thursday 10pm – 6am

Pay rate : £36,649.60  (yes this include paid breaks)

The Role  

*  Take ownership of your section, ensuring every ingredient meets our exacting standards of freshness and quality.

*  Prepare each dish with care, maintaining precise portion control and consistency.

*  Work closely with the Sous Chef, contributing to daily planning, problem-solving, and service excellence.

*  Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness — because we believe a clean kitchen is a professional one.

*  Collaborate across sections to deliver a smooth, efficient service in a busy, high-volume kitchen built on trust and respect.

Good to Have 

*       Previous experience as a chef.

*       NVQ Level 1 and 2 (or equivalent in catering).

*       Ability to efficiently manage your section of the kitchen.
