PREPARATION TEAM MEMBER CCK
Join our Cook Family as Prep Chef be part of a remarkable team that is the heart of the Kitchen.
Sunday - Thursday 12pm - 8pm

Core Responsibilities
Ensure that all fresh ingredients are prepared to the best of your ability to the required specification. This includes both ingredient spec and time frame. Weigh all required ingredients and ensure that weights are achieved as per specifications and raise any discrepancies with your team leader.
Ensure all paperwork you are responsible for is completely accurately and honestly and input on to unity as required.
Make sure we are working in a safe environment by following the relevant health and safety procedures and bringing to the team leaders any concerns you have
Think of the next department as a customer, so the service you provide must be the best that you can deliver.
Be conscious of wastage when prepping ingredients and take responsibility of yields. Ensure all paperwork you are responsible for is completely accurately and honestly and input on to unity as required.
Duties
- Cutting, weighing, measuring ingredients according to provided instructions.
- Preparing meat, seafood, and poultry for cooking by cutting or grinding, as instructed.
- Preparing vegetables (You must be comfortable with using sharp knives)
- Cleaning, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas, surfaces, utensils, equipment, and dishes.
- Adhering to all food handling and safety regulations
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Good to Have
- Experience as a chef or working in busy Kitchen
- NVQ level 1 and 2. (Or equivalent in catering) preferred but not required
