Join Our COOK Family as Pastry Commis Chef
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent - COOK Pastry & Pies
Hours: Sunday 6am - 2pm Monday - Thursday 11am -7pm
Pay rate : £ 12.60 per hour (yes this include paid breaks)

The Role
Work with quality in mind – check every ingredient and ensure it meets our high standards before it goes into our pastry work.
Stay consistent – maintain portion control so every dish looks and tastes just right.
Support with purpose – assist the pastry team and wider kitchen with a positive, can-do attitude.
Keep things spotless – uphold excellent hygiene and cleanliness, knowing that care in your space means care in your food.
Be a team player – collaborate closely with other sections in a busy kitchen, staying calm, focused, and supportive.
Good to Have
* Previous experience as a chef.
* NVQ Level 1 and 2 (or equivalent in catering).
* Ability to efficiently manage your section of the kitchen.
