COOK is a pioneering frozen food company, since 1997 we’ve been making remarkable food for your freezer, prepared by hand at our Kitchens in Kent (savoury) and Somerset (puddings) using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. To produce and distribute accurate weekly reports for the kitchens to the operational leaders and regular KPI reporting. Analsye the performance and suggest improvements. To look at the existing reports and processes and suggest how they can be improved. To assist in the period end processes and reporting as well as the annual budgeting process.

To support the manufacturing team and produce additional analysis as and when required.

Guidelines

*   Responsibilities

*   Produce and distribute weekly production variance reports for the kitchens

*   Weekly KPI reporting including producing presentations

*   Analysis and review performance to help with decision making

*   Month end processes including accruals, prepayments and general journal processing

*    Collating and reviewing P&L’s

*    Control account reconciliations

*    Site stock take processing

*    Other tasks as required by the team

Good to have

*   Minimum AAT qualified – preferably studying CIMA/ACCA.

*    Management accounts experience including month end processes

*    Strong Excel skills including V-Lookups and Pivot tables

*    Ability to analyse information and make recommendations

*    Ability to produce additional analysis that will assist in improving efficiencies

*    Strong communication skills – this role requires you to liaise with a variety of different teams from different areas of the business

*     Methodical approach and attention to detail to ensure accuracy of reportin

*    Adaptive – production needs are constantly changing so will need to be reactive and able to use initiative

*    Experience of manufacturing environment and variance analysis

*    Experience of standard costings and absorption accounting
