Compliance Trainer (part time, fixed term)
Location:* Sittingbourne
Hours:* 24 hrs, 3 Days per week, Ideally Monday – Wednesday
Salary £35,000 per year Pro Rata*
1 year fixed term contract staring in April 2026
In this role you will write and deliver engaging training that supports our teams to work confidently and safely, making sure our people get the right support at the right time. This role suits someone organised, personable, with experience of facilitation and stakeholder management.
Your team – The Learning & Development team designs creative, values-led learning experiences, for everybody and every team, to meet business needs and unleash potential.
Core responsibilities-
* Facilitation- Passionate about delivering compliance training, including Level 2 Health & Safety and Food Safety, in a way that aligns with COOK culture and is easy to understand.
* Communication- Build strong relationships with teams across the business to align on training needs. Engage confidently with people at all levels of the business, ensuring clarity in communication.
* Content creation- Collaborate with the Training Manager to write and revise compliance training so that it is as useful and as engaging as it can be. Keep training materials fresh, relevant, and up to date.
* Continuous improvement – Take on board feedback from training to make incremental improvements to your facilitation and content. Use your insight in the training room to collaborate with kitchens to spot compliance risks and address concerns.
- Knowledge & Learning – Stay up to date with compliance best practice and commit to continuous professional development.

* A strong, experienced facilitator.
* A brilliant communicator who can engage people at all levels of the business.
* Confidence using technology, including Microsoft, our LMS platform, and creative solutions to bring training to life.
* Flexible and adaptable, knowing that as a support function we are flexible to business shift patterns and locations.

* Knowledgeable, brining a good understanding of Health & Safety and/or Food Safety compliance in food production and manufacturing.
* Location: 2-3 days per week at a COOK site, based a HQ in Sittingbourne with regular travel to other COOK sites and external venues (including Tonbridge, Somerset, London etc).
* A UK driving license and access to a car would be beneficial for travel between COOK sites and external venues
