Job description
Join our Cook Family as Technical Auditor
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent - COOK Kitchen
Hours: Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm
Pay rate : £26,208 per year
Purpose:
To support the kitchen in delivering the weekly menus efficiently and safely, through observation and communication of the Kitchen inputs and outputs and the validation and verification of the Kitchen Food Safety Management System controls and processes.
Your Role:
Our large-scale kitchen require committed and hardworking people to produce the great quality food that our consumers love to eat. As a Food Safety Technologist, you will support the kitchen in delivering the menu safely and efficiently by ensuring that all parts of the site Food Safety Management System are in place, understood, communicated, validated and verified as per the scheduled plan of activities.
Working across all areas of the kitchen, being a great communicator, calm and very organised are the key skills for this position.
This role will be Production based with some office work
Role
* A knowledge of, and passion for good food along with previous experience of having worked in the food industry
* Ensure all Verification schedules are maintained
* Ensure Allergen Risk assessments kept up to date
* All validation testing completed OTIF
* Maintain good working relationships with the Kitchens
* Ensure all Technical kits are calibrated and functioning correctly
* Ensure internal audits are competed and actioned within 24hrs
- Through Root Cause Analysis processe, identify areas for improvement for GMP and Food Safety.
