£40,866 + £3,000 night shift premium

40hrs per week Monday - Friday 10pm - 6am 

Overview

COOK is looking for a remarkable person to nourish relationships between COOK and its Concessions retailers. Role

*        To carry out all physical and visual checks of on-site equipment, undertaking a programme of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), whilst working safely and compliantly.

*        When dealing with breakdowns across all our sites, use fault finding skills to put in place effective repairs, safely and to ensure minimal downtime. Work to identify corrective actions to prevent repeat failures.

*        Work with our operational teams to improve the effectiveness of on-site equipment and machinery. The Operations teams are the customer so an effective service is key.

*        Team work; close working relationships with the direct team, Lead Engineer, Engineering Manager and others is important.

*        Work closely with third-party contractors ensuring that any works carried out, are within accordance with company Health & Safety policies and practices.

*        Be flexible with regards to working arrangements, be able to undertake the variety of jobs and understand that as a 24-hour operation, working hours may vary including call-outs from time to time.

Good to Have

*        Engineering Apprenticeship with NVQ, National Certificate or City & Guilds qualifications

*        Practical mechanical & electrical experience within manufacturing

*        Experience in: packaging & labelling equipment / refrigeration / air conditioning

steam generation / site services

*        On-going professional development with a good understanding of Health & Safety

*        Effective at working to processes and planning engineering activities

*        Good communicator with suitable IT Skills
