About COOK
COOK is a pioneering frozen food company, since 1997 we’ve been making remarkable food for your freezer, prepared by hand at our Kitchens in Kent (savoury) and Somerset (puddings) using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. It means our food looks and tastes homemade maybe even a bit better.
We’re market leaders and (more importantly) our food tastes incredible. We have over 90 shops and a rapidly growing online business.
We’re independent (family-owned) and always will be because it allows us to do things the right way, not the fast way. We believe in business as a force for good in society and have certified as one of the UK’s first B Corporations to help us measure what matters when it comes to our impact on our environment, our people and our community.
We share 5% of our annual profits with staff.
About the Role

Communication & Engagement:* Act as the primary point of contact for all learning-related queries, engaging with people across the business. You’ll manage the learning inbox, providing timely and clear responses within 24 hours.
Data-Driven:* Track, record, and report on the training delivered, helping the team analyse and break down key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure we stay on track with learning goals.
Feedback & Improvement:* Regularly gather, collate, and share feedback from programmes to keep the learning experience improving and evolving.
Learning Resources:* Maintain and update learning resources across all COOK sites (e.g. print resources, and online materials), making sure they’re always accessible and up to date.
Good to have
Highly Diligent & Organised:* You’re naturally methodical, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects with ease. Your ability to coordinate everything from scheduling to event preparation will be crucial.
Brilliant Communicator:* You can engage confidently with people at all levels of the business, ensuring clarity in communication, whether it’s organising workshops or responding to learning queries.
Data-Savvy:* You’re comfortable with breaking down data and using tools like Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Forms, and Excel to report on training outcomes and keep everyone aligned on KPIs.
Flexible & Adaptable:* As the backbone of the L&D team, you’ll need to be flexible, adaptable, and proactive, especially when working with various schedules and locations.
Confident Host:* You enjoy engaging with people, making sure that learning environments are welcoming and conducive to our values.
