HYGIENE SUPERVISOR

Location: Sittingbourne - COOK Pastry & Pies

Hours: Monday – Friday 2pm - 10pm

Pay rate : £27,476.80 per year  (yes this include paid breaks)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and Lift Your Team Motivate and mentor Porters and Cleaners — including night teams — helping them take pride in their work, grow their skills, and feel part of something bigger.

  • Set the Gold Standard Keep hygiene tasks organized, on-time, and in line with food safety, health & safety, and legal requirements. Spot a slip? You’ll catch it before it becomes a problem.

  • Keep Calm, Keep Clean Create clean, calm spaces that support high performance and boost team confidence — especially when the pressure's on.

  • Be the Boss of Supplies Take charge of cleaning stock, PPE, and chemicals — making sure we’ve got what we need, and nothing goes to waste.

  • Work Smarter, Not Harder Look for clever, cost-effective ways to improve systems, save time, and keep standards sky-high.

  • Make It a Team Effort Partner with other departments so equipment is clean, areas are ready, and no one’s left waiting.

  • Document Like a Pro Keep clear, detailed hygiene records that show we care — because every detail matters.
