HYGIENE SUPERVISOR

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 10pm-6am Location: Sittingbourne at our COOK Kitchen
About the Role* As a Hygiene Supervisor, you will oversee our Porters Team (including the night shift) and cleaners, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and driven to maintain our high hygiene standards. Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring hygiene tasks and ensuring compliance with health and safety, legal, and technical regulations.
* Planning and coordinating hygiene tasks to maintain cleanliness across the kitchen, machinery, and fabric.
* Completing all relevant documentation accurately.
* Conducting stocktakes, ordering cleaning supplies within budgetary targets, and finding cost-saving methods while maintaining hygiene standards.
* Liaising with department heads to ensure equipment availability.
* Reporting food safety incidents and managing chemical supplies and PPE requirements.
* Leading by example, using COOK values to overcome challenges and resolve issues with both people and production. You’ll also identify potential team stars and focus on their development.
Good to Have
* Experience in leading and motivating a hygiene team.
* Level 3 Food Safety and Level 3 Health and Safety in the Workplace, or the willingness to train to this level.
