Join our Cook Family as Head of Goods In  

 

£30,000 per year 

 

Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm will need some flexibility due to being a 24/7 operation 

 

Must have experience of Managing a Team preferably in a Warehouse / Goods In environment.

Role

  • Ensure that Goods In are managed and that all goods are stored and stock levels of fresh goods, dry goods, and packaging on site. Ensuring the team have what they need to complete their duties, whilst monitoring stock and maintaining high levels of food safety.

  •  Manage the picking function for CCK, ensuring that each section of the kitchen is receiving products within agreed parameters to assist the smooth running of the kitchen. Whilst ensuring all paperwork is completed.

  • Identify the trends, challenges and opportunities for improvement within your department, including tool changes to achieve the best performances from the departments kit. Manage and record the OEE within the packing department and then report on a regular basis.

  • Support your Leaders and team members by being an active part of the team, being willing to contribute, roll your sleeves up and work together to create a remarkable operation.

  • Ensure communication and management of the transportation line between CCK, CKK and Logistics. Whilst, working closely with the QC to ensure all traceability is present.

  • Develop a training programme which ensures all new starters are supported and fully trained within an agreed time frame. 

  • Ensure the Team Leaders are kept informed of overall business performance, strategic plans which directly/indirectly affect the department.

  • Constantly review and develop processes which improve the efficiency of the department. 

  • Operate all stock control systems accurately

 

Good to Have 

  • Experience of using a Forklift  / Forklift License 
  • Warehouse Systems  / ERP Systems
