Join COOK as a Field Account Manager 

 

40hrs per week covering Somerset, Devon, Dorset, and Cornwall. B2B or food industry experience is an advantage. 

 

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000, plus profit share & benefits, depending on experience.

The successful candidate for this role will be a vital contributor in achieving that milestone, owning customer relationships and establishing new partnerships with Concessions retailers, such as farm shops and convenience stores, across the South West.

About You

  • Proven experience in B2B or B2C account management or sales is ideal
  • Excellent organisational skills and initiative for problem-solving
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience working remotely and autonomously preferred but not essential
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain control of situations
  • Driven and hands-on, with a growth mindset and optimistic outlook
  • Strong IT skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook. CRM experience a bonus.

 

Key Responsibilities 

Account Management: 

  • Manage all standard Concessions customers within a defined area to drive LFL sales growth and build relationships
  • Ensure superior customer experience at all times
  • Analyse sales reports to identify growth areas and customers in decline, with initial support from your manager
  • Present yearly forecasts and growth plans for your territory, including Capex spend requirements
  • Coach customers on sales optimisation and upselling new freezers

Brand Protection and Auditing: 

  • Create branded ‘COOK concessions’ in line with supply criteria, forging partnerships with suitable retailers
  • Support retailers to adhere to retail and brand guidelines to grow sales, standardise the appearance of our concessions and to showcase the COOK brand in their community

New Business Development: 

  • Seek out, recruit, and launch new Concessions opportunities that fit within supply criteria, with support of the wider team
  • Support sales strategy and budget targets
  • Targets to be agreed

 

Other Information 

  • This role is 4 days a week on the road and one day working from home
  • You will need a reliable car suitable for the job. Mileage is paid at 0.45p per mile, unlimited
  • Suitable space to work from home once a week required
  • Provided with a phone, laptop, and iPad
