Job description
Part time Digital Learning Designer - Fixed Term 6 months
Location – Remote
Salary - £32.000 - pro rata (paid breaks)
Hours 24hrs per week - This role could be remote, with 1 day per fortnight in Sittingbourne.
Optional up to 3 days per week at a COOK site, if local, This role will include some travel to other COOK sites and external venues across the UK (including Tonbridge, Somerset, London etc), particularly during induction.

At COOK, we are building a pioneering culture of learning and growth. As our Digital Learning Designer you will create a seamless, accessible digital learning experience through system and content design, that’s engaging and reflective of our culture.
Your team:
The Learning & Development team designs creative, values-led learning experiences, for everybody and every team, to meet business needs and unleash potential.
Main responsibilities:
* Build and maintain remarkable digital learning content on our LMS, The Learning Library. Design learning on a wide range of topics that’s culturally aligned, easy to engage with, and with the end user in mind.
* Maintain an organised, up to date content library in line with business and legal requirements, collaborating closely with technical and ops teams.
* Partner with SME’s to co-create and develop content using authoring tools, such as Articulate.
* Own an e-learning launch calendar and comms plan, keeping key stakeholders informed.
* Write engaging comms, user guides, and “how-to” training in collaboration with the L&D Manager to maximise engagement in the Learning Library.
* Design and maintain the system front-end for ease of use, always prioritising end user experience.
* Bring curiosity and a growth mindset to an evolving industry- exploring new tools, formats, and design strategies, and using data and feedback to continuously improve.
* Collaborate with the Head of People Systems to trouble shoot and ensure the system is running smoothly.
Good to have
* Have a proven track record in designing and building excellent e-learning content
* Possesses strong written communication skills and attention to detail for copywriting/ editing.
* Has a genuine passion of end user experience and a curiosity about how the business works
* Brings a creative eye, able to learn and apply the COOK style- both visually and in writing.
* Preferably has experience creating video, audio, and interactive assets
