Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm Hybrid working 3 days in office 2 days at home

Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our data team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating robust data products and solutions that help COOK leverage data more effectively. You will work closely with various teams across the company to understand their unique challenges and deliver data solutions that add real value.

Core Responsibilities 

• Data Integrity & Reliability: Ensure the trustworthiness of our data by building robust technical solutions and monitoring existing systems.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their challenges and design data-driven solutions tailored to their needs.
• Knowledge Sharing: Educate and empower teams across the organization to make better use of data in their daily work.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance data processes and tools.

Skills & Experience 

We are looking for candidates with a combination of the following:

• Proven experience in using data to solve business problems.
• Expertise in data transformation, modelling, and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data systems infrastructure.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Experience with Azure data ecosystem (Data Factory, SQL Server, Data Lake, etc.).
