Customer Care Advisor  Fixed Term contract until 16th January 2026 

Location – Sittingbourne  

Salary  £26,312.00 – paid breaks  

Hours  Mon–Fri 9.00 – 5.30pm – Will include some weekends on a rota basis  

 

Overview 

 As a Customer Care Advisor you will be responsible for providing remarkable customer service and serving as a friendly point of contact via phone, email and live chat.

 

Main responsibilities:

Customer Interaction & Communication

 

*        Act as a friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for customers reaching out via phone, email and live chat.

*        Maintain a professional and approachable tone, ensuring a positive customer experience across all communication channels.

*        Follow brand guidelines to deliver clear, concise, and helpful responses.

 

Problem Solving & Customer Satisfaction

 

*        Serve as a role model for our essential ingredients, especially Churchill’s Pig, when handling customer concerns and challenges.

*        Proactively resolve complaints and queries with efficiency, always striving for complete customer delight in line with brand values.

*        Ensure all phone calls and written communications are responded to within agreed KPI time frames.

 

Operational Support & Collaboration

 

*        Receive and process Home Delivery phone orders, addressing any queries related to the Home Delivery sales channel.

*        Provide support and guidance to the retail team and wider business on customer-related issues.

*        Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required to support excellent customer service.

 
 
 

Ideally You Will Have 

*        Experience of delivering a high level of customer care in a call centre environment.

*        Confidence in new situations and the ability to work well under pressure.

*        The ability to solve problems and implement practical solutions.

*        Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate well verbally and a high standard of written English.

*        Good level of IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
