Join our Cook Family as Field Account Manager

 

40hrs per week Covering Gloucestershire, North Wiltshire, Worcestershire, experience within the Food industry would be a advantage.

 

£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience 

 

Overview

COOK is looking for a remarkable person to nourish relationships between COOK and its Concessions retailers. About you

 

Basic Role Description

*   You’ll have the ability and initiative to manage your time and the drive to increase revenue and profit through targeted account penetration and new retailer recruitment.

*   You will champion the COOK brand ensuring high retail standards are upheld at all times.

  • Ideally, you will have a proven record of accomplishment in a B2B or B2C account management or sales role, excellent organisational skills, the ability to use your own initiative to problem solve and the mindset to prioritise and get stuck in to get the job done.

*  Strong proven communication & negotiation skills with internal and external customers.

*  Experience in working remotely and autonomously would be useful.

*  Ability to stay calm under pressure and stay in control of a situation.

*  Strong IT skills in Excel, Word & Outlook – Essential

 

Account management:

. To be responsible for the account management of all standard Concessions customers within a defined geographical area.

*   To ensure that superior customer experience is maintained at all times. Competently analyse sales reports for your designated territory to identify sales growth areas and pinpoint customers in decline - initially supported by your Manager.

*  Yearly forecast presentation on your territory with the desired plan for growth for the year ahead, including Capex spend requirement - supported by Manager.

*  To achieve sales growth through effective negotiation with existing customers. Use point of sale materials and range expansion discussions to help these negotiations.

*  Targets to be agreed.

 

Brand protection and auditing: To only create branded ‘COOK concessions’ in line with our supply criteria in approved retailers. Adhere to current retail and brand guidelines and strive to standardise the appearance of our concessions wherever COOK is sold.

 

**New business development: **To help seek out, recruit, and successfully launch ‘approved’ new Concessions opportunities that fit within the criteria for supply while supporting the sales strategy and budget. Targets to be agreed upon.

 

Other

*        This role is based 4 days a week on the road and one day working from home

*        You will be required to have a car that is in good working order and suitable for the job

*        Mileage is paid at 0.45p per mile unlimited

*        You will be required to work from home once a week, so a suitable space to do this at is essential

*        You will be provided with a phone and a laptop
